Wolfgang Joop
Eigentlich hat die Kunst sich immer sehr bemüht, sich der Mode zu verweigern. Aber heute ist sie mit ihr eine Symbiose eingegangen. Inzwischen ist Mode auch so eine Art Inszenierung, die weit über das Dekorative hinausgeht.
For many years, I worked with Wolfgang Joop and his label WUNDERKIND. During this time, I created photographs where fashion and art meet — clear, direct, and with a focus on the essential.
In autumn 2025, the Kunstraum Potsdam will present a major retrospective of Wolfgang Joop’s life’s work. Included in the exhibition are ten of my photographs from the WUNDERKIND Fall/Winter 2009 collection, reflecting a moment of our shared creative journey.
